Here's a parent's eye review of

Costa Teguise, Lanzarote from Kerri, March 2011

Costa Teguise, Lanzarote, Summer FlowersHoliday Type: Beach Holiday
From: Kerri

Is Costa Teguise, Lanzarote good for the kids?:

Yes, excellent. The area is very geared up for kids, with a lot of the bars & restaurants having childrens menus, toys and gardens with bouncy castles etc. The beaches are fab and the main ones have lifeguards. Along the sea-front there are several play parks and they are really new and fab for 1 year to 6/7 years old.

Overall holiday rating: 5 stars

What was your accommodation?

Type: Aparthotel
Name: Ficus

How was the accommodation in Costa Teguise for the children?:

It was great, it was a last minute cheap "all inclusive" holiday and was a real hit. Food - a huge selection at each meal, with some old favs if your child isn't adventurous with food (chips, pasta) but some local food as well. Pool - it wasnt heated but there is a kids pool, about 60cms I think Entertainment - very good around the pool and a few times a week there is a kids disco (with winners certificates!!)

Overall accommodation rating: 5 stars

Did you eat out in Costa Teguise with your children and how was it?

Yes, we ate out a few times and our 3 year old loved it, kids are really spoilt there and in one tapas bar they made him a "buzz lightyear" icecream sculpture thing as he is Toy Story mad!

Overall restaurants rating: 5 stars

Are there things to do for the children in Costa Teguise?

Lots, as mentioned above and apparently a water park, camel rides, etc. which we didnt do!!

Any other things you think parents should know about taking children to Costa Teguise?

Take your buggy! Our 3 year old never needs a buggy at home, but fell asleep in it at night and meant we could explore more when he was being wheeled around
